I recently purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ, a fantastic vehicle. However, the first thing I did, was looking to modify it! That ran me down a rabbit trail of finding the best modifications that make the most difference for the best price. I am sharing these modifications with you to see if they work well for you!

Best Floor Liners
1. Husky Weatherbeater Floor Liners
5.0
Before you get too far into your modifications journey, you start with the basics first, starting with protecting your floors. These Husky Weatherbeater Floor liners are fantastic, as they completely cover your floor and don't move around (and underneath your pedals). This is also a great way to cover up damaged carpeting that has likely happened over the years and give your interior a fresh look.

Best Cargo Liner
2. Husky Liners Weatherbeater Series Cargo Liner
4.5
Now that you have set up the floor liners for the front of your Tahoe, you should probably get your cargo area covered too! These can be purchased for Tahoes that do or do not have the third row installed. I have the third row in my Tahoe, so this is a great way to help keep the complete SUV's carpeting covered and protected.

Best Side Steps
3. N-Fab Black Nerf Bars
4.0
While I prefer the stock steps that came with my Chevy Tahoe, I considered installing these N-Fab Nerf Bars! They only have steps where necessary (instead of running the entire SUV length), so they still give you as much ground clearance as possible. They also provide your Tahoe with a more rugged styling, perfect for those who want to stand out but also have something practical.

Best Infotainment Center
4. 10.25 Touch Screen w/ Apple Carplay & Android Auto
4.0
The body style in question stretched quite a few years; however, the earlier models (such as my 2007) need to be updated in the technology department. Apple Carplay is an essential part of my driving experience. This touchscreen gives an incredibly stock style (instead of a standard double-din unit) and a massive screen to navigate the system quickly or your Apple Carplay/Android Auto.

Best Cargo Basket
5. Rhino Rack XTray Cargo Basket
4.5
Cargo baskets are the trend nowadays! They give your Tahoe a rugged look, are incredibly usable, and are reasonably inexpensive, considering the impact they make. I opted for this Rhino Rack Xtray, as its styling looks quite different from the run-of-the-mill cargo baskets you see on every Subaru you pass. With a bit more overlanding style, this is my favorite cargo basket for the price.

Best Grille Replacement
6. Armordillo Mesh Grille
4.5
The face of your vehicle says a lot about it! While many people like the chrome styling of the Tahoes, I wanted something a bit different. This Armordillo Mesh Grille is a simple addition but makes all the difference. It removes the chrome inserts currently there and then replaces them with a matte finish. The Chevy logo is also swapped out for a black chrome-style logo, making it all that much better.

Best Headlight Assembly
7. Anzo Chrome Switchback Projector Headlights
4.5
Your headlights can make or break the vehicle's styling in the same vein as the grille above. 2007 was one year before the Audi R8 burst on the scene with LED Driving Lights and changed how DRLs were used for styling, so it missed the boat on that trend. These Anzo headlights fix that, give you a considerably more modern appearance, and make you more visible to oncoming traffic.

Best Window Deflectors
8. AVS In-Channel Ventvisor Window Deflectors
4.5
Driving in the rain with your window slightly open is a great way to drive. However, without window deflectors, that rain ends up on your face or dripping onto the electronics on your door. These deflectors were my choice! They look sleek, give your Tahoe a bit better appearance, and are a reasonably priced upgrade to your rig.

Best Snow Tires
9. Michelin X-Ice Snow Tires
4.5
We recently upgraded the tires on one of our SUVs and installed these X-Ice Snow tires! With snow and rain around the corner at any time of the year, we run snow tires year-round, and these tires have proven to be fantastic. They are quiet, work well with performance, and are one of the few winter tires that offer a manufacturer warranty (most snow tires don't have a warranty due to their soft nature).

Best Wheel Modification
10. Plasti Dip Graphite Pearl Metalizer
4.0
This generation of Chevy Tahoe was built at a different time, and wheel styling has changed quite a bit. If you are looking for a quick, easy, cheap way to make your wheels meet modern standards, Plasti Dip is a fantastic way to make that happen. I have no double I will be spraying my wheels soon.
